A set of portraits of twelve employees with mental disabilities who work in the social enterprise Chříč Brewery. The portraits were painted in the summer of 2020 by František Štorm:
"People living in a changed reality touch the beer I have been drinking for years. I was interested in how close their world is to our artists, and during a two-day session in the July brewery garden I found out that we have a lot in common. Every escape from madhouse monotony is enthusiastically welcomed, they want to be with us, they can help, surprise and inspire. They love their work so that they perfectly fulfill the old brewery saying:
God bless you! ”
Note: the exhibition was originally supposed to take place in August as part of the KřičFest festival in Chříč, which was canceled for fear of spreading the virus. Then the set was ready for October at the Ponrepo cinema in Prague, but the day before the opening the government banned meetings of people for coronavirus...
