A real commission for a certain church. I conceived of Christ's last journey as own story, a guide to an individual experience of an unfinished journey. The stylization of individual images with an emphasis on figure and movement can be reminiscent of comics. The dramatic content is retold through fairy-tale scenes in contrast with a civil expression that is intended to revive the ancient mystery in the everydayness of our contemporary lives.
